Hampshire Police Award Nomination, Building Partnerships That Enable a Better Service

Each year Chief Constable Pinkney invites nominations for the 'Focus Awards'. The awards seek to recognise work that supports the aspirations of the force's Six Areas of Focus. This year District Commander for Fareham and Gosport, Chief Inspector Lewis made a nomination under the focus area of Building Partnerships That Enable a Better Service.

The work recognised was the operations in response to the anti-social behaviour in the Hardway area of Gosport.

Despite very strong competition Hardway made it to the shortlist. Whilst ultimately the nomination did not win, being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates what can be achieved when the community works together
