POSTPONED - Crabbing Competition Update


Due to Government announcement of adjustments to the COVID 19 roadmap to recovery made on 31 July this event has been POSTPONED - all registered applicants have been contacted directly.


A new date will be advised in due course. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you will appreciate that our priority is always to keep our community safe.


Other planned events such as watersports and fishing trips for young people are continuing with social distancing controls.

Crabbing Competition 8 Aug 1pm -2:30pm AGE REQUIREMENTS ALL COMPETITORS TO BE AGED 12 OR UNDER. ALL COMPETITORS TO BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT.

Please be aware the limit on number of participants has now been reached and registration is closed


For those who have been lucky enough to secure an entry why not pop along to Good Crabbing Guide to read about the Do's and Don't of crabbing to ensure the crabs don't suffer any unintentional harm


All lines, buckets, nets and bait will be provided. You may bring your own but no hooks or large nets allowed.


Prizes will be awarded for the heaviest crabs.


We will be following Good Crabbing Guide and all Crabs will be returned to water
